Community First Guam Federal Credit Union announces the groundbreaking of a new corporate headquarters building in the heart of Hagåtña. The new Community First Building will be located alongside Route 4 in Hagåtña, between West O’Brien Drive and Chalan Santo Papa. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 9:30 AM at the new location.
The new Community First Building will be three story, featuring a modern layout, 15,000 square feet of floor space, and will include a drive-thru teller station. The building will replace the current Hagåtña Member Service Center location and will serve as the headquarters for Community First administration, human resources, risk, compliance, call center, and internal audit departments.
“Today, with the turning of the earth, our new facility will bridge our almost 60 years of tradition and community service history with the technology driven future of the company,” said Gerry Cruz, President & CEO of Community First.
The Community First Building was designed by Architects Laguana LLC and will be constructed by Canton Construction Corporation. The expected completion date is January 2023.
